Working Days/Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am – 6pm
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to Perm or Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Food Production Planner to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth production by managing orders, planning schedules, and coordinating with various departments. You will be responsible for developing daily production plans and ensuring communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers and suppliers to confirm and process orders.
  • Input orders into the production schedule and ensure accuracy in planning.
  • Check stock levels and timings to ensure orders are met within deadlines.
  • Liaise with laboratory, production, and transport teams to coordinate production and delivery schedules.
  • Create and manage daily production plans for the production team to follow.

Desired Candidate Skills:

  • Previous experience in production planning, ideally within a food production environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of stock control and inventory management is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment is desirable.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
