Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking reliable Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on operating production machinery, maintaining high hygiene standards and delivering quality products, with the potential for a permanent opportunity.

Ideal candidates will have experience in machine operation within food production, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to follow procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating production machinery in manufacturing or food settings.
Strong commitment to quality and hygiene standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, checklists and procedures.
Willingness to undergo site-specific training and food hygiene courses.
Basic understanding of food safety systems (e.g. HACCP) and GMPs.
Experience with basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor and adjust production machinery to meet output and quality targets.
Set up machines and perform routine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance.
Follow production schedules and accurately complete production and quality records.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
Identify and report faults or quality issues and support improvements.
Work as part of a team and communicate with supervisors and colleagues.
Pack products into boxes, stacking and palletising as required.
