Job summary

Manpower Scotland is recruiting Production Operatives for our client near Newtongrange. This is a temporary dayshift role in a busy food production environment with consistent hours and long term potential based on performance.

You will work as part of the production team to support daily manufacturing activities, with hands-on line work, packing and general factory duties to maintain smooth output. Hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30, and pay is £12.75 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or factory work preferred but not essential.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line to pack, sort and prepare products.
• Pick and pack items to meet daily targets.
• Follow food hygiene, safety and quality standards at all times.
• Carry out basic checks on products and report issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Assist with general factory duties as required.
• Work as part of a team to ensure steady production flow.
