Job summary

Kingdom People Limited is recruiting Food Production Operatives to work at a confectionary site in Blackpool. You will assist in the production line, ensure products are made to recipes, quality checked and packed following food safety standards.

The role offers rotational shifts, approximately 36.5 hours per week, with potential for overtime and temp-to-perm after 12 weeks. Basic pay starts at £12.85/hr for 12 weeks, rising to £13.06/hr thereafter, with overtime rates of £19.28–£26.12/hr and

• Previous experience desirable but not essential.
• Able to work 8-10 hr shifts on a rotational basis.
• Be able to commute to Blackpool.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production process ensuring products are made and packed to quality standards.
• Follow health and safety and food safety guidelines at all times.
• Inspect finished products for quality control and operate machinery after training.
• Work as part of a team to ensure timely production and accurate filling of orders.

Job description

We are recruiting for several Food Production Operatives.

£12.85 Per hour for basic hours for first 12 weeks

£13.06 Per hour for basic hours after 12 weeks

£19.28-£26.12 per hour overtime

Double time on Sunday.

Rotational Shifts - Full Time

Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 0600am-1400pm Friday 0600am-1300pm

Week 2- Monday to Thursday 1400pm- 2200om Friday 1300pm-2000pm

Typically 36.5 hrs per week. Flexibility required.

Temp to perm available after 12 weeks

Kingdom People are recruiting for several Food Production Operatives to work at one of our client’s sites in Blackpool. The customer is a leading confectionary manufacturer. The role will involve assisting in the production process, ensuring that products are made, quality checked and packed according to food safety and quality standards.

The Role

Food Production Operatives will be expected to do the following tasks (list is not exhaustive):

• Working within a food manufacturing environment (no cold environments and no meat products)
• Measuring and adding ingredients to product as required - following processes and recipes
• Operate machinery and equipment daily and being responsible for the manufacturing of the product once fully trained
• Inspect finished products for quality control
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines at all times
• Working as a team to ensure all products are made correctly and in a timely manner
• Lifting trays up to 5kg in weight

Requirements

Food Production Operatives ideally need to fulfil the following requirements:

• Be able to work 8-10 hr shift on rotational basis
• Previous experience desirable but not essential
• Being able to commute to Blackpool
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
