Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is recruiting for Food Production Operatives for a well-established food manufacturer in the DN16 area near Leeds. You will join a busy production operation with roles across packing, relabelling, weighing ingredients and machine minding to support daily targets and product quality.

Shifts include days, afternoons and nights with competitive hourly pay of £12.82–£15.02 and potential opportunities for permanent roles for successful candidates.

Food Production Operatives required for a well-established food manufacturing company based in the DN16 area.

We are currently recruiting for multiple Food Production Operatives to join our client's busy food production operation. There are a variety of departments and roles available, including packing, relabelling, weighing ingredients and machine minding, with opportunities to develop your skills and potentially secure a permanent position with the company.

Food Production Operative – DN16

• Days: 06:00am – 2:15pm
• Afters: 2:00pm – 10:15pm
• Nights: 10:00pm – 6:15am

The Role – Food Production Operative

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a busy food manufacturing environment helping to ensure products are prepared, packed and processed to the required quality and production standards.

Depending on the department, your duties could include:

• Working on food production lines
• Packing finished food products
• Relabelling products accurately
• Weighing and preparing ingredients
• Machine minding and monitoring production equipment
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy
• Working as part of a production team to meet daily targets
• Reporting any quality or production issues to your supervisor

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives who take pride in their work and can work well as part of a team.

Previous food production experience is useful but is not always essential, as training may be available for suitable candidates.

You will need:
