Food Production Operatives

Job Description

Looking for full-time work with full-time hours? We are seeking food production operatives to start immediately.

Job roles may include:

1. Handling – using knife skills to prepare vegetables, such as separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower, slicing sweet potatoes into wedges, and removing the cores from peppers.
2. Checking – washing and preparing delicate vegetables to the required standards and processes.
3. Processing – hand-prepared root crop vegetables into bags up to 10kg in weight.
4. Inspecting and sorting peeled root crop vegetables to meet customer requirements.
5. Packing orders to meet customer requirements, including pallet banding/wrapping.

Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour. Please note we do not accept visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: 3-5 days per week, including weekends. Starting at 8am and working between 8-12 hours per day.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous experience working in a warehouse is advantageous but not essential. The environment is very cold, so you must be comfortable working in these conditions.
