Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting Food Production Operatives for a busy Highbridge manufacturing site. This hands-on role covers multiple production areas with full training provided. Working Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–5:00pm, you will help with packing, quality checks and hygiene in a warm environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, hardworking and keen to learn, with good attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Previous food manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Willing to learn and work across different areas of production.

Responsibilities

• Load and inspect products on a production line.
• Handle raw materials and ingredients, lifting up to 15kg.
• Check products for quality and remove foreign materials.
• Weigh ingredients accurately in line with production requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and cooking process.
• Inspect labels and best-before dates.
• Pack finished products into trays and boxes.
• Operate or assist with packing machinery.
• Build and stack pallets.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• Follow strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
