Food Production Operative – Harrogate

Location: Harrogate
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm (flexibility to work both shifts is required)

We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives to join a well-established food production business in Harrogate. This is a hands‑on role working in chilled and frozen environments, handling both raw and cooked meat products.

Key Responsibilities

• Work efficiently and safely to meet production targets
• Load raw products onto cooking plates in the low‑risk area
• Follow all company procedures and guidelines
• Slice, weigh, pack, and label cooked products in the high‑risk area
• Ensure all Critical Control Points (CCPs) are met and maintained
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness in full compliance with company procedures

Requirements

• Comfortable working in chilled environments
• Able to perform in a fast‑paced production setting
• Previous experience in food production is beneficial but not essential
• Physically fit and able to stand throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and a team‑oriented attitude
• Must hold a valid driver’s license
