Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is recruiting Food Production Operatives for a busy meat production site in Chesterfield. The role is on a Monday to Friday shift, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a temp-to-perm opportunity and potential overtime.

Ideal candidates have some food production or packing experience, though training is provided. You will work in a chilled environment, weighing, packing and ensuring quality and hygiene standards are met.

Qualifications

• Previous food production or packing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual.

The Role

Working as part of a busy food production team, you will be responsible for preparing, weighing and packing raw meat products in a

chilled environment.

Your duties will include:

• Weighing, handling and packing raw meat
• Operating basic packing machinery
• Checking products and packaging
• Working to daily production targets
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Keeping your work area clean and tidy

Pay & Hours

£12.71 per hour

Monday to Friday

7:00am – 3:30pm

Temp to perm opportunity

Overtime may be available

About You

Previous food production or packing experience is
