We are currently seeking Food Production Operatives to join our client site – a modern bacon factory near Bury St Edmunds. If you are motivated, reliable, and willing to work, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview:
Job Title: Food Production Operative
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk - IP28
Type: Full Time, ongoing with possibility for Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: from £12.36 per hour (Basic) plus well paid overtimes at £18.54 per hour after 40 hrs week
Shifts: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day) - Morning: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM & Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Start Date: Immediate

As a Production Operative, you will be involved in all areas of food production, from slicing and packing to labelling and quality checking. Full training is provided, and no prior experience is required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, supportive work environment, with potential for a temp-to-perm position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Processing, slicing, packing, labelling, and coding bacon products
• Visually inspecting finished items to meet customer specifications
• Packing items according to specific guidelines and requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in your work area
• Following all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
• No prior experience needed – training provided
