Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, hygiene standards and quality control procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
• Good understanding of production processes, stock control and waste management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily production activities to meet production targets and customer demands.
• Plan, organise and monitor production schedules to ensure efficient use of staff, equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, HACCP procedures, health and safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the production facility.
• Lead, motivate and supervise production staff, providing training and support where required.
• Monitor product quality, minimise waste and reduce production costs without compromising standards.
