Role Overview

To protect the reputation of the GOSH food production operation and its delivery of service, managing high-quality meals and efficient service for all customers, including patients and staff, inside and outside of meal times.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage kitchens, the team, and all related food production.
  2. Prepare all food to the highest standard.
  3. Ensure timely food production to support smooth service.
  4. Assist in menu planning and stock management.
  5. Contribute to dish costing and work towards achieving GP targets.
  6. Label and date all food in storage.
  7. Comply with health, hygiene, safety, and quality standards including COSHH and HACCP.
  8. Maintain a professional and friendly image with clients and customers.
  9. Work collaboratively to ensure excellent customer service.
Additional Information

This role is based at a prestigious hospital in London, operating Monday to Sunday, including evenings. The team of 50 provides staff and patient dining, hospitality services, and catering for various events.
