Job summary

Greencore Group in Wisbech is seeking a Machine Operative to keep production lines safe, efficient and quality-focused. You will operate and monitor machinery, support changeovers, and work closely with Supervisors and Engineers to minimise downtime.

The role offers full-time hours on a 4-on/4-off pattern, with 7:00am–7:00pm shifts and flexibility to start at 6:45am when required. A competitive hourly rate of £14.67 is provided along with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.
• Ability to operate and monitor production machinery.
• Strong adherence to health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor production machinery.
• Ensure machines run efficiently and meet targets.
• Carry out basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Monitor product quality throughout production.
• Record production data and maintain logs.
• Support changeovers and maintain clean working areas.
