Job summary

Krispy Kreme is looking for a Food Processing Shift Leader to oversee the doughnut decorating team on the shop floor. You’ll lead the shift, support your team, and ensure every doughnut meets our gold standard.

Based in our UK facilities, this hands-on role requires leadership, a calm problem-solving approach, and flexibility to cover full shift rosters, including weekends. Full training provided; join a passionate team creating world-famous doughnuts daily.

Qualifications

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a food or production setting.
• Able to work across the full shift rota, including weekends.
• Physically active and able to be on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support the processing team during your shift.
• Ensure targets are met while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Mix, decorate, fill, and box fresh doughnuts to specification.
• Maintain top-tier food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Collaborate with managers to improve daily operations and shift handovers.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance skills.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and boost productivity.

In our standalone factories, you’ll join a dedicated team responsible for mixing, processing, and packaging our world-famous doughnuts — fresh and ready to ship to local stores and supermarket shelves. It’s fast-paced, hands‑on work where every role plays a key part in our success.

Depending on the location, you may be applying to work in one of our unique theatre stores — where the factory is front and centre, and the doughnut‑making magic happens live for customers to see. When the Hot light is on, it’s showtime! Guests gather to watch the doughnuts being mixed, fried, and glazed in real time — and your part of the performance.

No baking experience? No problem. We provide full training — all you need is a great attitude, a team mindset, and a readiness to learn. Whether you're behind the scenes or in the spotlight, this is your chance to grow your career while making something people love.

Key Responsibilities
