In our standalone factories, you’ll join a dedicated team responsible for mixing, processing, and packaging our world-famous doughnuts — fresh and ready to ship to local stores and supermarket shelves. It’s fast-paced, hands-on work where every role plays a key part in our success.

Depending on the location, you may be applying to work in one of our unique theatre stores — where the factory is front and centre, and the doughnut-making magic happens live for customers to see. When the Hot light is on, it’s showtime! Guests gather to watch the doughnuts being mixed, fried, and glazed in real time — and your part of the performance.

No baking experience? No problem. We provide full training — all you need is a great attitude, a team mindset, and a readiness to learn. Whether you're behind the scenes or in the spotlight, this is your chance to grow your career while making something people love.

Food Processing Operative

• Pay: Hourly pay, paid fortnightly.
• Contract: There are no zero-hour contracts, everyone receives holiday pay, which varies depending on hours worked, if eligible we will also enrol you in our pension and life assurance schemes.
• Training & Development: No experience needed. If you agree food quality is important, have eye for detail, enjoy repetitive working on your feet, then we will show you how to become an awesome Krispy Kreme doughnut decorator, while supporting you with future career development.
• Doughnuts: Free Doughnuts to enjoy as well as hot drinks while on your break. Got something to celebrate, have a box on us to enjoy with family and friends.
• Uniform: We all wear a Krispy Kreme logo top, personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety boots which we provide. You’ll need to be comfortable wearing and providing your own workwear trousers.

What will I do as a Food Processing Operative:

You’ll be responsible for mixing our secret ingredients, filling, decorating, and boxing all our yummy doughnuts by hand daily. You’ll work, in a fast-paced and versatile manufacturing environment, with tight deadlines especially during peak times throughout the week and year. Expectations of quality and food safety standards are high; therefore, consistency and ability to follow food processing specifications is key.

What we’re looking for in a Food Processing Operative:

• Flexibility to work an 8 hour / day, in line with site specific manufacturing shift requirements.
• Excellent availability to work between Monday to Sunday
• Quality focused, team players, who are looking to master their craft, while not taking themselves too seriously
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, coachability and a positive attitude
