Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Food Photographer & Videographer to join our Social Studio. You’ll ideate, produce, and edit high-impact, visually compelling content using DSLR Cameras and various professional lighting equipment, that not only tells stories but also sparks conversation and connection with audiences.

Reporting to the Content Lead, you will work closely with a team of Content Creators and Social Media Managers to bring our clients’ brands to life on social media.

We’re looking for a natural storyteller with an eye for detail, someone who’s immersed in the latest social trends and popular culture, but is also able to execute high-production ideas independently around brand new creative concepts. You will understand how to apply data-driven insights to create content that truly resonates. You’ll be a vibe setter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves the process of thinking creatively on your feet-whether it’s ideating, shooting, or editing.

You’ll primarily work with hospitality clients, ranging from food and drink brands to Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels. You may also be involved in projects for clients in Education, Retail, and Tech, so the ability to adapt content to different audiences and industries is essential. Day-to-day, you’ll also collaborate with our wider studio team-strategists, conceptors, and digital marketing managers-to amplify the impact of your work.

This is a highly independent client-facing role, so you’ll be confident and proactive in engaging with high level marketing directors and operational teams during and outside of shoots. You’ll immerse yourself in each client’s brand, gaining a deep understanding of their business to ensure the content you create is always on-brand and relevant. Plus, also you’ll get to enjoy the perks of comped experiences.

If you’re ready to turn social strategies into scroll-stopping content that captivates and connects, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualising: Collaborating with our creative and strategy teams to develop engaging, platform-native social content ideas. Create mood boards and shot lists, ensuring the concepts and techniques resonate with target audiences.
  • Content strategy alignment: Ensure content aligns with overarching social strategies, adapting creative to meet specific campaign objectives and audience insights. Process Optimisation: Identifying opportunities to streamline our production processes alongside our Social Operations Manager, ensuring the team works efficiently and delivers content that meets deadlines and client expectations.
  • Pre-production: Working with our Social Operations Manager, you’ll plan out shoots seamlessly, producing operational call sheets to ensure smooth logistics and guaranteed output for your content shoots.
  • Production: Lead both photo and video shoots independently or with a team, including coordinating models, props, and on-set direction.
  • Editing & post-production: Edit content to an excellent standard for optimal performance, using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom and CapCut, ensuring the final product is polished, on-trend, and meets the agency’s standards.
  • Performance analysis: Collaborate with the Social team to review content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine future content and ideation processes.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise in best practices for social content creation.
  • Client collaboration: Work closely with client teams to manage approvals, feedback loops, and ensure smooth project execution, delivering top-tier content on time.
  • Trend monitoring: Stay on top of emerging social trends and platform updates, proactively suggesting innovative approaches to keep content fresh and competitive.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years professional experience as a Content Creator for a breadth of different clients
  • Experience working with food, beverage or hospitality clients
  • Proven experience in creating impactful social content on channels including Instagram and TikTok
  • Excellent working knowledge of editing software such as the Adobe Suite and CapCut
  • Excellent working knowledge of equipment such as lighting, gimbals, DSLR Cameras, and mini mics
  • Excellent standard of written English skills, verbal fluency and confidence
  • Organised, assertive, and self-motivated – with lots of initiative
  • Be open-minded and sociable with a lively personality

Beneficial thought not essential

  • Experience working within an agency
  • 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays, your birthday off and Christmas to New Year studio shutdown
  • Dog-friendly office spaces
  • Free access to gyms across the FORA estate
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Regular team socials
  • Dreamcatcher raffle entry (the chance to make a dream come true!)
