VANRATH is delighted to assist our Food/FMCG major client with the recruitment of a New Product Development Manager to join their dynamic and growing team at their site in Dungannon.

Hours: Mon-Fri

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and improve new and existing products aligned with the strategic objectives of the business.
  2. Collaborate with the commercial team to identify market trends and opportunities, developing new product concepts to meet customer needs.
  3. Manage the entire NPD process through the workflow to ensure timely launches within budget, maintaining food safety and quality standards per the Quality Management System.
  4. Ensure knowledge sharing of new product development across the business, assessing suitability for Irish, UK, and export markets.
  5. Manage change throughout site operations and line trials.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including HACCP, BRC, and customer-specific standards.
  7. Identify growth opportunities with each customer by understanding their sales platforms.
  8. Develop an NPD calendar for key accounts, covering short- and long-term activities.
  9. Stay updated on legislative requirements, ensuring product development is future-proofed.
  10. Minimum 2 years' experience in an NPD role within the food industry or FMCG sector.
