Job summary

Berry Recruitment Group is supporting a Bishops Stortford food production client in recruiting a Lab Technician to test raw materials, milled flours and finished goods against specification.

Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–14:00, you will record results, escalate where needed and ensure compliance with food safety procedures and site quality systems.

You will assist the Quality Compliance team, participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement in product safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task and problem solve under pressure
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel)
• Basic report writing
• Good communication (written, verbal and listening)

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, milled flours and finished products against specifications
• Record results accurately and escalate where required
• Demonstrate food safe manufacture to auditors and customers
• Support the Food Safety and Quality Compliance Manager and team
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
