Job summary

IPL Normanton is seeking a dedicated Machine Hygienist to join our on-site Hygiene team at the Normanton Fresh Produce Packing Facility.

You will manage cleaning in pack house, warehouse and perimeter, monitor chemical readings, and ensure compliance with BRC and COSHH standards while working 4 on 4 off, 7am to 7pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory environment is required.
• Good practical skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically within a team.
• Awareness of Health and Safety policies in the workplace.
• Food Safety Level 1 or equivalent.
• COSHH certification.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Keep operations areas clean to high standards across the pack house, warehouse and perimeter.
• Record Sodium Hypochlorite readings and actions.
• Handle chemicals per COSHH training and regulations.
• Communicate with Hygiene supervisor/Shift Operations Leader regarding issues.
• Adhere to training and meet BRC and COSHH standards.
