Job Description

In this full-time role, based at Epworth Freemasons (East Melbourne), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the distribution of food across our Epworth Freemasons site, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will be part of the Food Services team and report to the Hospitality Services Operations Manager.

You will make an impact by :

  1. Effective Team Work Engagement
  2. Supervising and coordinating daily food distribution processes
  3. Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
  4. Managing a team of food service staff to ensure smooth operations
  5. Liaising with kitchen and hospital staff to ensure the timely delivery of meals
  6. Maintaining accurate records and reports related to food distribution

To be successful in this role...

You are an experienced confident supervisor, with well-developed interpersonal skills. You are a born leader with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You have a can-do attitude, and are adaptable to all situations. You also have a high work ethic to deliver exceptional service.

You will have :

  1. Business Management Diploma (preference in Hospitality Management)
  2. More than 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in a hospital or aged care operation
  3. Experience leading a team of more than 8 staff per shift
  4. Experience and knowledge of Food Safety compliance
  5. Experience in process improvement within food services
