A great opportunity to develop your R&D expertise and progress your career in food development.
Here you’ll be joining a highly regarded food business that develops innovative food applications for a range of product categories. They work with leading global food brands and manufacturers, providing them with market-leading ingredient solutions.
This is a newly created role as they expand the team due to business growth. You’ll be supporting R&D projects across the team, gaining experience in the lab, development kitchen, and pilot plant.
You’ll work on various customer briefs, supporting the development of new concepts and quality improvements to existing products. You’ll assist in pilot plant trials and factory trials at customer manufacturing sites.
You’ll join a talented and supportive team of R&D professionals who will provide training and guidance to help you progress your career. You’ll be based at their impressive R&D centre with excellent facilities from recent investments.
For this role, a Food Science or related degree would be beneficial but not essential. You should have a keen interest in food ingredients and processing, along with some culinary knowledge. Experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory environment is advantageous.
Key qualities include initiative, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and develop your career.
This is a site-based role, hands-on in the R&D centre, working Monday – Friday during office hours. Occasional visits to customers in the UK and EU are required, so a driving license is necessary.
