Job summary

Star Salford Academy invites a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils, helping them access the curriculum and grow academically and personally. You will work closely with teachers to reinforce learning and behaviour expectations in a vibrant 11-16 environment.

The role requires good organisational skills, a clear understanding of health and safety regulations (COSHH) in a school setting, and the ability to build positive relationships across the Star community.

Qualifications

• A Levels or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent.
• Understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment in a school environment.
• Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to a school.
• Experience of keeping work records.
• Detailed knowledge of safe working practices in relation to hazardous equipment and tools.
