Job summary

Star Salford Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning, enabling an outstanding learning environment.

You will have a Level 3 qualification or A Levels, and a strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations including COSHH. You will be experienced in keeping records and in safe working practices around hazardous equipment,

Qualifications

• A Levels or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent.
• Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment.
• Detailed knowledge of Health & Safety legislation as it relates to the work of a school.
• Experience of keeping work records.
• Detailed knowledge of safe working practices in relation to the handling and usage of hazardous equipment and tools.

Responsibilities
