John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Partner for our Waitrose service counters in Haywards Heath. You will showcase knowledge of food, promote ethical sourcing, and build strong customer relationships while contributing to sales and loyalty through trusted service.

The role offers part-time hours (12:15–20:30, 22.5 hours/week) with a night premium and potential flexible working arrangements. On-site at Perrymount Road, RH16 3DP, in West Sussex.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to engage with customers and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for your food counter with high presentation and hygiene.
• Maintain stock levels to ensure popular products are available.
• Handle open food with due diligence and follow health & safety protocols to reduce waste.
• Maintain knowledge of Waitrose products and food values (animal welfare).
• Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
