Food Compliance Manager - Craigavon

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Location: Office is based in Craigavon.

Job Purpose:

To manage the supply assurance and support tenders for service providers and non-inventory items which could have an impact on food safety, authenticity or quality. Including, but not limited to; laundries, hygiene/cleaning chemicals, haulage, storage facilities, crate washers, PPE suppliers, calibration service providers and pest control.

• To manage the supply assurance of packaging suppliers.
• To audit packaging and service suppliers as required based on risk assessment.
• To be a values champion and work on activities to improve our Food Safety and Quality Culture.
• To support the Integrity Manager with VACCP and horizon scanning as required.

The Ideal Person:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of BRC and customer requirements in relation to supply assurance.
• Good auditing skills.

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of working in a Food Manufacturing environment >5 years.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Systems.
• 3rd Party auditor training and experience of auditing food and non-food manufacturing sites.
• Degree level qualification in a related discipline.
