Buckingham Futures is recruiting for anEnvironmental Health Officer / Higher Certificate Officer to cover long-term sick leave for our local authority client in Surrey.
Key Requirements:
Completed either the Higher Certificate in Food Control (HCFC) or Advanced Professional Certificate in Food Hygiene and Standards Control (APC-Food).
Ability to work independently and undertake 120–150 inspections over 3 months.
Experience conducting inspections of low to high risk premises, providing inspection reports that include legal responsibilities, best practice advice, and Food Hygiene Rating Scheme ratings.
Complete and return paperwork to be inputted onto the database within 48 hours of inspections.
Undertake revisits as requested and escalate serious issues to the Lead Officer for Food and Safety.
Additional Information:
Multiple officers may be considered, but a minimum commitment of 40 inspections is required.
This is a temporary assignment, offering excellent experience and exposure in food safety inspections.
