We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Member. In this role, you’d be making a real difference to the work of the National Trust, as well as helping to give people a memorable day out.

Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed-term position. Wherever possible, we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’ll give you as much notice as possible.
The role includes weekends, weekdays, and Bank Holidays, but there are no evenings or split shifts.
Salary: £12.25 per hour.
Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 18th June 2026.
Interview date: Thursday 10th July.

What you'll be doing
As a Team Member, your main focus will be front of house, dealing directly with people. You’ll welcome and look after everyone who comes to the café. With your love of working with people, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a desire to provide outstanding service, you’ll ensure everyone has an enjoyable time. This is a lively, fast-paced environment, so teamwork and adaptability are essential.
You’ll seek to understand what people want, help them, and make recommendations. You’ll maintain high standards in food and drink presentation and preparation. Using your keen eye for detail, you’ll ensure displays and signs are accurate and attractive. Occasionally, you may assist the kitchen team with food preparation.
We’ll provide an induction tailored to the role, along with training in allergens and food safety, plus mentoring to support your development. Further professional training is available if you wish.
