About the role

Our Food and Beverage department is a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our F&B Team Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurants, bars, and cafes across the terminal. You may be wondering what your daily tasks will entail:

  • Oversee, manage, and develop a team of F&B assistants.
  • Responsible for the rota for your team, including shift and daily duties allocation.
  • Manage stock control, including ordering, rotation, and waste control.
  • Handle the movement and storage of stock deliveries.
  • Serve customers at their tables and at the till point.
  • Prepare hot and cold beverages.
  • Prepare some hot food items and deliver them to our customers' tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment, floors, and tables.
  • Work with your team and colleagues from other departments to consistently deliver exemplary service to our passengers.
  • Fully embody the Airport's ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when you are required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
  • Understand that the Airport operates 24/7, so you may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To undertake this role, you need the following skills and experience:

  • Supervisory experience in a food and beverage setting.
  • Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Health & Safety.
  • A full understanding of both front of house (Restaurant, Bar, and Café) and back of house (Kitchen management) operations.
  • Experience in customer service.
