Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at the China Fleet Country Club. The club is set in 180 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, just 15 minutes from Plymouth's city centre. We are a country club that offers accommodation, fitness & leisure, golf, dining, hair & beauty, weddings, conferences, and events. If you're an experienced and motivated hospitality professional, we are looking for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager to co-lead the daily operations of our busy food and beverage operations alongside our existing management team. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and have strong leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the Food & Beverage department.
  • Lead, train, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and strong product knowledge.
  • Monitor and control stock, payroll, and operating costs.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and events teams for seamless service.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
  • Oversee rota planning, staff scheduling, and POS systems.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant management (essential).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • A hands-on approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food, drinks and current hospitality trends.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work well under pressure.
  • First Aid at work qualification.
  • Personal Licence.
