Job description

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (including service charge and dependent on experience)

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will oversee the operations of two restaurants, one restaurant/bar, a pub, an afternoon tea lounge, and room service. Your role is key in ensuring the delivery of the brand promise while providing exceptional guest service across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead by example, ensuring all colleagues uphold the brand promise and deliver outstanding guest service.
  2. Maximize colleague productivity through multi-skilling, multitasking, and flexible scheduling, balancing business goals with a healthy work-life balance.
  3. Manage venue operations focusing on profitability while aligning with the brand's core values and guest expectations.
  4. Analyze business performance strategically, collaborating with Heads of Department for accurate monthly forecasting.
  5. Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating local, national, and international market dynamics, as well as competitor and vendor insights, to keep operations competitive and innovative.
  6. Drive marketing opportunities by working closely with the Marketing Department and/or external agencies to maximize exposure via social, digital, and PR channels.
  7. Lead and nurture a high-performing team through continuous feedback, tailored training, and a supportive environment.
  8. Collaborate with HR to recruit and develop a motivated, engaged team that embodies the hotel’s values and vision.
