Food & Beverage Assistant Manager - Eastwood Hall, Nottingham

We are seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager for our venue, Eastwood Hall - Restaurant, Bar, Room Service & Conference & Banqueting.


Salary: £13.75 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.


Your Role:

  • Lead and develop the Food & Beverage Services Teams.
  • Ensure efficient operation across all food and beverage service areas.
  • Plan for upcoming business to maintain high service standards.
  • Oversee Conference & Wedding Events, Restaurant services, and Bars.
  • Ensure team members have thorough knowledge of our food and beverage offerings.
  • Contribute to business strategy discussions to maximize results.
  • Support the Food and Beverage Managers in maintaining quality and profitability, ensuring revenue is maximized.
  • Work with the Head Chef to uphold high standards of food service and production.
  • Review guest feedback regularly and implement improvements to maintain quality standards.
  • Keep all F&B SOPs up to date.
  • Optimize productivity through effective rostering and budgeted payroll targets.
  • Carry out Duty Management shifts.
  • Organize restaurant, bars, and conference operations to meet demand, focusing on stock control and payroll.
  • Participate in target setting and communicate goals to the team.
  • Support beverage stock management and ordering, ensuring use of approved suppliers.
  • Maintain effective beverage controls and systems for stock management.
  • Motivate and lead the team positively, providing ongoing training and development.
  • Assist in recruitment and health & safety compliance.
  • Participate in stock inventories and control stock within budget.
  • Ensure legal and company policies on fire, health, and safety are followed.
