Food & Beverage Assistant Manager - Eastwood Hall, Nottingham
We are seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant Manager for our venue, Eastwood Hall - Restaurant, Bar, Room Service & Conference & Banqueting.
Salary: £13.75 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.
Your Role:
- Lead and develop the Food & Beverage Services Teams.
- Ensure efficient operation across all food and beverage service areas.
- Plan for upcoming business to maintain high service standards.
- Oversee Conference & Wedding Events, Restaurant services, and Bars.
- Ensure team members have thorough knowledge of our food and beverage offerings.
- Contribute to business strategy discussions to maximize results.
- Support the Food and Beverage Managers in maintaining quality and profitability, ensuring revenue is maximized.
- Work with the Head Chef to uphold high standards of food service and production.
- Review guest feedback regularly and implement improvements to maintain quality standards.
- Keep all F&B SOPs up to date.
- Optimize productivity through effective rostering and budgeted payroll targets.
- Carry out Duty Management shifts.
- Organize restaurant, bars, and conference operations to meet demand, focusing on stock control and payroll.
- Participate in target setting and communicate goals to the team.
- Support beverage stock management and ordering, ensuring use of approved suppliers.
- Maintain effective beverage controls and systems for stock management.
- Motivate and lead the team positively, providing ongoing training and development.
- Assist in recruitment and health & safety compliance.
- Participate in stock inventories and control stock within budget.
- Ensure legal and company policies on fire, health, and safety are followed.
