About the role

Hale Country Club & Spa is recruiting for a full-time Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a passion for food and beverage, ready to deliver exceptional service and enhance the dining experience for our esteemed members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Work in all areas of Food & Beverage, including Bar, Restaurant, and Outdoor Terrace.
• Welcome members and guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service.
• Prepare setups for tables.
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Up-sell with the latest departmental incentives.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
• Comply with club security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
• Comply with local licensing laws.
• Be environmentally aware.
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships.

Requirements

• Ideally, 1 year of experience working in a hospitality environment.
• Flexibility in availability and adapting to shift patterns as needed.
• Enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service.
• Strong team-working skills, contributing to collaborative success.
• Self-motivation, with the ability to work proactively and independently when needed.
• Good people skills, building positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced working environment.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality service.
