Job summary

Hillier Garden Centre at Newbury is seeking a friendly Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team. You will work in our restaurant, serving food and drinks, making hot beverages and delivering excellent customer service.

This fixed-term role covers peak trading, with 22.5 hours weekly and potential for extra hours. The hourly rate is up to £12.71. Training is provided, and benefits include staff discounts and 31 days leave pro rata.

Hillier Garden Centre atNewburyis looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team.

Working within our restaurant, you'll help create a welcoming experience for customers by serving food and drinks, preparing hot beverages and maintaining high standards of customer service.

This is a fixed-term role to cover business requirements through the peak trading period, expected to end on 07.02.2027, although this may be reviewed depending on business needs. The role offers guaranteed 22.5hours per week. Additional hours are regularly available during peak trading periods, so we are looking for candidates who can offer flexibility to increase their working hours when required.

Hourly rate of pay up to £12.71 per hour. Actual pay will be determined in line with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

What you'll be doing
