Our food and beverage operations include Conference and Banqueting, Restaurant, Brasserie, Lounge, Bars, and Room Service. This role will mainly assist in the Conference and Banqueting department; however, depending on business needs, the role could also involve other food and beverage areas within the hotel.

We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role, particularly involving hotel events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all guests receive the highest level of service and act as an ambassador for the hotel by promoting its facilities and image.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the hotel to inform guests about available facilities and services.
  • Assist in setting up lounge, restaurant, meeting rooms, and functions; support at special events such as weddings, receptions, and corporate events; perform daily cleaning duties as directed.
  • Take food and beverage orders, relay them accurately, provide information about menu items and allergens, and make recommendations based on guest preferences. Serve food and beverages to high standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Follow all food hygiene and safety protocols at all times.

Full training will be provided to meet hotel standards.

Key Attributes:

  • Professional, friendly, and approachable personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Smart appearance, with attention to personal presentation and work attire.
  • Experience in a similar role, especially with hotel events, is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while remaining calm and composed.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Reliability and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends on a rota basis (8-hour shifts).
  • Having your own transport is advantageous due to the rural location.
  • A reasonable level of fitness to work an 8-hour physically active shift.

If you believe you can meet these challenges, please submit your application as soon as possible. We reserve the right to close the role early if sufficient applications are received.

Note: Due to our rural location, having your own transport is necessary.
