Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in the UK. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy and have opportunities to grow as part of a welcoming, customer-focused team.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will deliver friendly and efficient service, upsell where appropriate, and help maintain high standards in a high-volume hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills. You will also meet experienced team members who can help you grow.
