Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents, families and visitors in our care home. You will serve meals, refreshments and assist with setting up dining areas, while keeping spaces clean and inviting.

Working closely with hospitality and kitchen teams, you’ll help deliver high standards of service, communicate kindly with residents, and follow food hygiene and health and safety practices to ensure every mealtime

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, catering or customer service environment.
• A friendly, caring and professional approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you''ll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, families and visitors. From serving meals and refreshments to ensuring dining areas are clean, comfortable and inviting, you''ll help make every mealtime a positive experience.

Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, you''ll support the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage services throughout the home. Whether you''re preparing dining areas, serving residents or assisting with kitchen duties, your friendly approach and attention to detail will help us deliver the high standards we''re known for.
