Join Our Team at Hot Mess Toasties!

We’re a small independent cafe located on London’s Southbank, renowned for our cheese toasties and excellent coffee. We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and friendly individual to become part of our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and cooking hot food, mainly toasties, to order.
2. Preparing and making specialty coffee and drinks.
3. Opening and closing the cafe as required.
4. Taking orders, recommending dishes, and engaging with customers.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shift.
6. Managing deliveries and informing the manager about stock needs.
7. Supporting the team with various duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

• At least 1 year of similar experience, preferably in an independent street food environment; barista experience is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing, and committed to high-quality customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail.
• Team player who is proactive and dedicated.
• Level 2 Food & Hygiene Certification (training can be provided).
