Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Food & Beverage Assistant in Grantham to support dining services across the home. You will help prepare dining areas, serve residents and assist with kitchen tasks, delivering a warm, welcoming and high-quality mealtime experience.

The role is part-time, 28 hours per week with shifts from 8am to 4pm and alternate weekends. A friendly, professional approach and good teamwork are essential to ensure excellent resident and visitor experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, catering or customer service environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas and service stations for mealtimes.
• Serve meals and refreshments to residents and visitors.
• Assist with kitchen duties and ensure cleanliness in dining areas.
• Help maintain high standards of presentation and resident experience.

About The Role

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, families and visitors. From serving meals and refreshments to ensuring dining areas are clean, comfortable and inviting, you'll help make every mealtime a positive experience.

Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage services throughout the home. Whether you're preparing dining areas, serving residents or assisting with kitchen duties, your friendly approach and attention to detail will help us deliver the high standards we're known for.

About You

To join us as a Food & Beverage Assistant, you'll need:

• Experience in a hospitality, catering or customer service environment
