We are looking to take on a Food and Nutrition Teacher to begin work as soon as possible! The successful Food and Nutrition Teacher will have the opportunity to work in a Secondary setting in Treorchy, where staff are committed to providing the very best education and opportunities for their students. This school is dedicated to creating a dynamic and inclusive community, whilst also promoting unique and relevant skills to prepare students for the next steps in their careers and development. As a Food and Nutrition Teacher you will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, whilst assessing students understanding of food preparation and healthy eating.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Food and Nutrition Teacher able to teach Key Stage 3, 4, & 5, who is ready to inspire, motivate and to maintain high-standards of learning, as well as promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being.

Our successful Food and Nutrition Teacher will:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status (NQTs welcome to apply)
• Have qualifications or a degree related to the subject specialism (e.g. Food Technology)
• Have good classroom and behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviour
