Lecturer - Food and Drink Manufacturing


Location: North West, Greater Manchester

Salary: £30,046 - £40,322 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

Start Date: September or ASAP

DBS: Enhanced DBS required (Update Service)


We are recruiting on behalf of a leading further education college in the North West.


The college is looking to appoint a skilled and passionate Lecturer in Food and Drink Manufacturing to deliver a range of modules within Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. This role is based at their dedicated engineering campus and will support full- and part-time learners in preparing for careers in the food and drink production sector.



Key teaching areas will include:

  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Fluid power systems
  • Electrical testing and machines
  • Component assembly and fitting techniques
  • (Desirable) Legislation in food and drink manufacturing

The successful candidate will bring strong industry knowledge, a commitment to high-quality teaching, and the ability to inspire learners to achieve and progress.
