A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Head of Food and Beverage, your day will include:

• Assisting in creating a warm and welcoming environment
• Responding promptly and effectively to all guest requests and queries
• Setting up the Refectory Restaurant, Garden Room, and Chapter House Bar for service
• Helping with Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, and Dinner Service
• Serving guests light refreshments
• Taking food and drink orders and serving guests at their tables throughout the hotel
• Maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, fostering teamwork and great service

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We hire mainly based on personality & potential, but here are some requirements...

To succeed as a Food and Beverage Team Member, you should have:

• A passion for delivering great service and creating memorable moments
• Previous hotel experience is advantageous but not essential
• A willingness to learn and work as part of the wider hotel team
• Flexibility to work various shifts in our Restaurant, Garden Room, and Bar, including evenings, days, and weekends
