Job summary

Macdonald Linden Hall is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our front-line team. You will greet guests warmly, deliver attentive service, and use your hospitality experience to tailor recommendations across our menus and hotel offerings.

The role requires a proactive team mindset and a smart, professional appearance to reflect the brand. Training is provided for new joiners, and a flexible, guest-focused approach will help you thrive during peak periods, including festive seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar customer-facing role in hospitality is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and undergo training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are greeted warmly and genuinely.
• Provide friendly, attentive service tailored to each guest.
• Advise and recommend from up-to-date menus and hotel products/services.
• Maintain a safe, clean service area in line with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene policies.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant at Macdonald Hotels, you are leading the front line in a key, customer facing role.

You love to interact with people and your ability to engage with our guests in a confident and approachable manner is the first step to delivering great service. You are also a proactive and committed team player with a ‘can do` attitude – you’re great to have around and both guests and colleagues appreciate your enthusiastic approach.

Delivering a memorable guest experience is important to you. You take pride in making a difference, paying attention to detail and always seeking to anticipate our guests’ needs.

This role is ideal if you have experience in a similar customer-facing role in hospitality. However, if you have worked in a quality-led customer service role in a different industry and are willing to learn, we will provide you with training and the opportunity to thrive!
