Job description

The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Food and Beverage Supervisor with a passion for service excellence.

You will report to the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, working to provide our guests with memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the food and beverage manager in building an effective team through leadership and setting the right example.
  2. Work with the F&B Managers to take responsibility for training, development, departmental induction, monthly meetings, planning, and delegating work.
  3. Provide courteous and memorable service to guests, leaving a lasting impression.
  4. Demonstrate full knowledge of our products and facilities to deliver exceptional service.
  5. Ensure daily tasks are completed effectively.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver captivating experiences.
  7. Take initiative in accommodating guest needs resourcefully.
  8. Assist in training and coaching staff to achieve service standards and product delivery.
  9. Handle guest complaints following proper procedures.
  10. Promote sales awareness within the department to maximize opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Excellent guest engagement skills.
  • Previous hospitality experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience handling customer requests and complaints.
  • Well-organized, outgoing, and service-minded.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills aligned with guest expectations.
  • Good command of English; additional languages are advantageous.
