Job description

Pyrford Lakes in Woking is seeking a Hospitality Shift Leaders to join our team.

As a Shift Leader, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clubhouse. You’ll take the lead in organising and running events, supervising staff, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Working closely with the Clubhouse Manager, you’ll also support the day-to-day management of the clubhouse while fostering a positive, sales-focused, and engaging atmosphere for both our team and our members.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Clubhouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clubhouse.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service to members and guests.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures that improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering to ensure availability while minimising waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clubhouse environment.
  • Help plan, organise, and deliver special events and promotions.
  • Respond to member and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a clubhouse, hotel, or similar setting.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, effectively handling customer concerns.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
