Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Retail Lead to join us at the NEC Group. This role combines retail and catering management, overseeing daily operations to ensure professionalism, efficiency, and adherence to budget. You will work with the team to meet and exceed customer expectations while supervising and developing colleagues. You will be accountable for compliance with company policies, driving sales, and delivering a top customer experience in our franchise stores at the ICC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete accurate forecasting and reporting of financial data, consulting with the F&B Retail Manager to improve profitability.
• Implement and manage health & safety and fire safety policies, ensuring staff are trained and compliant.
• Manage resources proactively, including controlling the temporary labour budget.
• Manage, train, and develop colleagues to deliver current and future business objectives.
• Deputise for the F&B Retail Manager in their absence.
• Ensure delivery of standards that meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Handle complaints effectively, investigating and liaising with customers and colleagues.
• Demonstrate leadership to foster high morale and motivation.
• Allocate duties and responsibilities to team members.
• Ensure pre-booked goods and services are delivered to customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in a multi-faceted catering retail environment or as a Junior Manager.
• Experience supervising and developing colleagues in retail and/or catering.
• CIEH Intermediate Hygiene Certificate and IOSH qualification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• Numerate and literate with good communication skills.
