The Club

The National is a world class, private golf club, providing unique member experiences on four golf courses across two sites at Cape Schanck and Long Island.

In addition to having access to four world class golf courses, members enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and service. The club operates a restaurant – with the capacity to comfortably seat more than 300 dining guests – a bar, and on-course catering facilities.

The Roles

The National Golf Club is looking to engage casual food and beverage attendants to join our friendly and dedicated team. Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, Hospitality Assistant Manager, and Hospitality Supervisors, working along with our highly motivated team, making a positive contribution to the Club.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibility as a Food & Beverage Attendant is to deliver exceptional service and promote a friendly, club environment to our Members and their invited guests across the Club.

As a Food & Beverage attendant you will also be required to assist with setting up and packing down the restaurant and bar areas following service periods.

You are expected to foster strong relationships with staff, members and their invited guests. Communicate effectively with the management team to promote a positive work environment all whilst ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures are maintained.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following skills and background:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role preferred, but not essential
• The ability to work under pressure in a busy and dynamic environment
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• You have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards
• Flexibility to work weekends, and public holidays as required
