Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds is seeking a friendly Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. You will help prepare and serve food and drinks, ensure dining areas are clean, maintain high standards of guest service, and support event setups as needed.

In this role you will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, and contribute to memorable dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality role is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
