Assistant Restaurant Manager

Location: Scotland

Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

We are a luxury hotel and golf destination located on the stunning Scottish Isles renowned for our exceptional guest experiences and fine dining. We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and help deliver outstanding service in our award-winning restaurant.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Lead, train, and develop the team to maintain high standards of customer service.

Manage reservations and ensure efficient seating and flow within the restaurant.

Assist with inventory management, ordering, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the quality and presentation of food and beverages.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.

Support in executing marketing initiatives as they are rolled out to guests, training staff in recommendations etc.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.

- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- A passion for delivering excellent customer service.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficiently.

- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and spirits.

- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
