Overview

Food and Beverage Assistant – Part-Time

Location: Winchester Cathedral Cafe, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LS

Pay: from £8.60 – £11.44 per hour + 12% Holiday Pay

Hours: Flexible hours available. Weekend availability is vital for this role (Saturday and Sunday).

Start: Immediate Start

What you will be doing

• Assist in the preparation of food and snacks.
• Keep the catering areas clean and maintained at all times.
• Provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
• Ensure that customers are given prompt and efficient service.
• Opportunities to assist with events we hold, giving a great variety of work and experience.
• No experience required, just an appetite for excellent customer service, an appreciation for good food; full training provided.

Qualifications

• Have a contagious passion for food and/or customer service.
• You draw satisfaction from working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus.
• Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Works according to the BaxterStorey core values.
