We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused team player who thrives in a busy environment. If this is you, then we are looking for you to join us at IKEA Exeter to join our food team.

We are seeking a variety of candidates to carry out different size contracts, including weekend only, evening & weekend shifts. Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Opportunities include working in our restaurant serving meals, working the tills, maintaining cleanliness, or working in the kitchen preparing and serving meals following health & safety guidelines.

Expected Starting Date: 13th July
Interviews between: 21st - 28th June

WHAT WE OFFER
£12 hourly rate
Living Wage Foundation Employer
12 - 34 hours per week, working from 2 to 5 days over 7, including 3 out of 4 weekends
Permanent contracts with advanced scheduling

We operate 7 days a week to meet customer needs. Weekend work is required; shifts will be discussed at interview. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
Are you a team player with a passion for food and people? Do you know your meatball from your plant ball? If so, we want you.
You will help deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high-quality, sustainable food. You should be collaborative, responsible, and customer-focused, always striving to improve.
Prior experience in food is desirable but not essential; a proactive attitude is key.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Our diverse team serves over a million customers yearly across IKEA restaurants worldwide, offering a variety of foods in our bistros and Swedish Food Market.
Roles include:
- Kitchen: food prep, cooking, serving, dishwashing
- Restaurant & Swedish Food Market/Bistro: floor service, tills, stock replenishment, customer engagement
We are flexible and can discuss your preferred working area during the interview.
